Sketchbook art

I am an inveterate traveller and have done many long distance walks all over the world with my beloved Rob and often with one of our dogs.

I always travel with my trusty Fabriano sketchbooks and a very small bag of pencils or paints to work on the hoof sometimes using coffee or tea. Sketchbooks become the best souvenirs money can't buy.

In some ways this is the most exciting and most interesting part of my work: they allow you to be free and make mistakes. Sometimes you only have moments to capture something and these moments help to imprint the scene into your retina. Here are a few of my pictures but there are hundred more.
